FAQs

We appreciate our active service members and veterans. At this time, the only discounts we offer are our promotional codes. You can find them on our site, or sign up to be on our e-mail list so you can take advantage of our regular promotions.

Mobility Mart products carry manufacturer's warranties ranging from Limited Lifetime Warranties to 6m Warranties, and all are guaranteed to be free from defects when you receive them.

If a product is misused, neglected, altered, damaged or tampered with, we have to void the warranty because it’s no longer being used as intended and we can’t guarantee the safety of the product or its user.

Mobility Mart reserves the right to substitute, discontinue, alter or modify our products at any time without notification in order to bring you the safest, most up-to-date mobility products.

First, make sure you bought the item from our Mobility Mart website. If you purchased it elsewhere, you will need to reach out to that retailer to initiate a warranty claim.

Give us a call promptly at (800) 509-7267, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm CST. Our customer service representatives will work with you to identify the defects with photo evidence and submit a claim. If the defect is confirmed, Silver Spring will replace the defective part with the same or similar product at no charge.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Mobility Mart product, and we understand that sometimes mistakes happen or a product is no longer needed.

Mobility Mart has a 30-day return policy on most items. Simply give us a call or email us, and we will walk you through the process of getting a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and initiating your return.

Yes, we do. Any order placed on a business day before 3:00pm CST will ship out of our warehouses that day.

How do I know what wheelchair or scooter ramp length I need?

Use our Mobility Calculator below to find right length

Fill in the form below to see the minimum ramp length you need.

Please enter wheel base.
Commercial Access:
Minimum ramp length = ft.
Residential Access(occupied):
Minimum ramp length = ft.
Residential Access(unoccupied):
Minimum ramp length = ft.

Because length is so important in finding the safest ramp for your mobility needs, many of our longer ramps are engineered to fold down to a more compact length, width, or both. With a more compact footprint, they are able to be transported by hand or in a vehicle, or stored in a garage, while taking up less space.

While no-fold ramps are a single-piece design, bi-fold ramps will commonly fold along the length of the ramp to reduce the width. Multi-fold ramps, which tend to be the larger ramp lengths, not only fold lengthwise but also fold in half to greatly reduce the overall footprint.

The grit coating on our ramps holds up in any weather condition and provides traction for wheelchair wheels and scooter tires, as well as any individuals walking alongside them. It will provide more traction when wet, and presents less of a fall or slip hazard.

Your carriers all look the same, how can I distinguish between them?

This is a great question. Once you know your scooter dimensions and weight, here are the key features to look for:

  • Weight capacity: Some carriers can haul up to 600 pounds, enough for a medium to large four-wheel scooter, while others are designed for smaller scooters or manual wheelchairs.
  • Material: Lightweight aluminum or strong steel.
  • Loading ramp: It’s easier to load a scooter using a long ramp, however shorter ramps are more compact and will be easier to handle, store, and lift.
  • Folding: Some carriers come with a folding hitch adapter so they fold right up against your trunk when the carrier is not in use.
