Steps to Installation
1. Setting Expectations for Installation
Harmar will contact you to walk through what will happen during the install, set expceptations and answer any questions you may have at that time.
2. Confirming the Appointment
Once the installer has reviewed the details of your installation, they will reach out to confirm the date and time of the installation, and perform a home evaluation (unless they were able to do a virtual evaluation ahead of time).
3. Down Payment for Installation
Because each installation location is unique, and might be subjected to additional fees, you will be required to pay a down payment prior to receiving the stairlift and getting it installed.
4. Harmar Builds and Ships Your Order to the Installer
Once the down payment is received, Harmar promptly builds your custom order and ships it directly to our installer so that they're ready to deliver it to your location for the installation.
5. The Installer Completes the Stairlift Installation
The installer will arrive at the agreed-up date within 14 business days of the placed order, OR 14 business days after they receive the stairlift from Harmar. If they are unable to mee the agreed-upon date for any reason, they will notify Harmar promptly so that you're aware of what's going on.
6. Signing the Final Documentation
We want you to be completely satisfied with your stairlift and the installation process, and we want you to have full understanding of how the stairlift works, and the warranty that comes with it. So, we require that you read and sign several documents:
- Installation Confirmation
- Training Documents
- Warranty Policy
