A larger-style power scooter or wheelchair will have no problem loading onto this extra-large hitch carrier. The integrated ramp is 61" long for easy loading and can lock in an upright position, fold flat, or be removed as needed. When not in use, the carrier conveniently folds up and out of the way.

This new carrier from VersaHaul was built to accommodate those larger mobility scooters and wheelchairs that are being offered on the market. This scooter and wheelchair rack comes with an extra-large platform and a longer ramp for easy loading.

With a carrier this size, almost every chair can be hauled to your destination! This all steel scooter carrier can be attached to Class III or IV hitches to load your mobility scooter. The 61" long attached ramp creates a lower angle when loading the carrier and its mesh floor has excellent traction. The VH-MS-XL can safely load up to 500 lbs. and features 13 tie-down points for securing your scooter or power chair. The scooter carriers fold up capabilities give you more space when backing up.

Please note, hitch-mounted mobility carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Never exceed the lowest maximum rating of either of these two: vehicle’s tongue weight and vehicle’s trailer hitch tongue weight. Be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Will not work with Class II or smaller receivers. Not designed to carry scooter or wheelchair while occupied.
