Harmar Electric Hitch-Mounted Micro Power Chair and Scooter Lift - 200 lb. Cap

This unique power wheelchair lift features a hybrid design that combines the best attributes of the standard "inside" and "outside" lifts to overcome space requirements in newer vehicles. The lift attaches to a class II or greater hitch receiver and effortlessly loads a power wheelchair or scooter into your vehicle.

After loading your mobility device into your vehicle, the lift can be removed easily from the hitch, taken apart, and stored inside. This wheelchair and scooter lift uses a receiver hitch-mounted lifting arm to load mobility devices up to 200 lbs. from the ground into nearly any type of SUV, minivan or truck with a Class II hitch or above. With the lift mounted outside the vehicle, it leaves more space inside to accommodate a larger wheelchair. The adjustable design allows it to clear tailgates and work with pickup trucks with fold-down tailgates.

Each lift includes a free DD17 docking device, this docking device is for use with most scooters with a seat post. To use this device, the seat of the scooter must be removed so the hook on the strap can be properly attached.

Please note, hitch-mounted mobility lifts are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch and be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adapter.
